MARSJAL SOVJETSKOGO SOUZA This marshal of USSR field tunic is a late 1950's version, using the M1943 style tunic (with the 1946-1958 buttons) and the last M1943 style Marshal USSR boards that were introduced in 1958. Even though looking like a regular wartime M1943 Marshal USSR tunic, it is in fact quite a bit rarer.
The name is not known, but given size and age, it might have belonged to Eremenko, Zhakarov or Grechko. For some reasons there are holes from awards on it, some of the previous collector owners may have decided to "decorate" it in WWII style.
Apart from the award holes, the set is in excellent condition and comes with tunic and breeches (blue with red stripes). The size of the uniform is 54, which is 44 in US size. The belt is not included.
