MONGOLIAN PEOPLES REPUBLIC Extremely rare Mongolian Peoples Republic parade-walkout uniform of a highly-decorated major-general. The uniform resembles its Soviet counterpart, but look at the embroidery of the sleeves, collar and shoulderboards. It is much more "oriental" and gives the uniform a very delicate appearance. The buttons also features a very nice mongolian insignia. The ribbon bar contains several decorations including some Soviet awards. The graduation badge is Soviet issue. Two badges are missing from the left side. The visor cap has replacement Soviet cord buttons, but the original mongolian cap badge is still present. The breeches are excellent condition.
We do not have the full knowledge of the contents of the ribbon bar, but we have identified (apart from Mongolian) also Soviet, East German and polish awards.
The set is in excellent condition; the size of the uniform is 54 and the cap is size 59. In U.S. sizes, this is 44 for the jacket and 7 3/8 for the visor cap.
