The postwar service includes participation in the construction of the Baikal-Amur railroad, a project where the railway troops had influence. The railway troops also played an important role in the second world war, transporting vital supplies to the frontline of the east european theatre of war. The graduation badge is from the military transportation academy.

The uniform is in excellent condition and comes with straight leg trousers for wear with shoes. The uniform also includes visor cap and belt. The size is 54 (US44, L-XL) and the cap is size 58 (L). The collar tabs feature the engineer branch insignias on black velvet.
