POLKOVNIK AVIATSII
Soviet aviation colonel parade uniform from the late 1980s. The owner, being a pilot of good skill, served in the defense of Moscow and was lightly injured during the war as indicated by the yellow stripe on the left side. In the end of the war he also saw action on the far east front in the war against the Japanese.
The uniform is in excellent condition and comes with visor cap and belt. The tunic is made from dark blue wool gabardine with golden shoulderboards for the rank of colonel, indicated by three large metal stars on each shoulder. The jacket has blue piping at the sleeves. The size of the uniform is 52 (US 42) and the cap is size 60 (XL). The cap was made by the famous Moscow 43TsePK factory.

Screwback orders of the Great Patriotic War IInd class and Order of the Red Star. Badges for 25th anniversary of Victory and Red Guards. Pilot badge class II and yellow cloth ribbon for light injury.
