NAVAL AVIATION
Well kept parade uniform of a lieutnant-colonel of the Soviet naval aviation, the airforce of the navy. The uniform is undated but production technique and matherials indicate late 1980s. The tunic, which is a navy white tunic, features airforce parade shoulderboards with blue details instead of black. The visor cap is a bright white navy cap in splendid condition. The uniform comes with black navy trousers (the white uniform could be worn with both white and black trousers). The belt has hangers for dagger; and a matching 1984 dagger can be purchased optionally. Contact us for details.
The size of the tunic and trousers is about 56 (44-46, XL) and the visor cap is size 60.
The awards indicate a postwar career span of 25 years from the 1960s until the late 1980s. The naval airforce were responsible for the aircrafts operating from aircraft carriers including both helicopters and jet planes. The officer in this case held a "2" rank pilot classification badge and had graduated a technical military school. The uniform also holds the Soldier Internationalist award, indicating participation in military service (or advisory) abroad.

Red guards badge, Graduation badge from a technical college and the badge "Soldier internationalist". Top mounted is the medal for 100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin. The medals are mounted 5+5.
