This double breasted M/40 style of naval uniform was not used often, but was striking in its appearance.
This example is very rare as it is for a combat pilot of Red Navy Aviation. The tunic is in great shape
with two holes from awards, one on each side.
Each sleeve has two standard width stripes and one thin strip with blue cloth between, correct for naval aviation.
On the right (wearers left) is a beautiful embroidered aviation insignia! The buttons in front are correct wartime type.
The screwback order of the Great Patriotic War and the medal for Bravery shown in photo 9 are not part of the set, but can be purchased optionally. This shows how the uniform may have looked like when in use as parade wear.
