MARSJAL ARTILLERII M/55 Parade uniform of Marshal of Artillery Yefim Vasilyevich BOYCHUK. The set is a nice 1960's uniform with 1980s promotion boards (Boychuk was promoted to Marshal of artillery in 1980).
Marshal of Artillery Yefim Vasilyevich BOYCHUK was born in 1918 and died in 1991. During the great patriotic war he was an artillery platoon and regimental commander and served within 2nd Belorussian and 2nd Ukrainain fronts. He was head o multiple artillery and ordinance schools and was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor in 1984. His awards also included
two Orders of Lenin, the Order October Revolution, Order of Alexander Nevsky, two Orders of the Patriotic War 1st Class, Order Patriotic War 2nd Class, the Order of Red Banner of Labor and two order of the Red Star.
The set consist of jacket and trousers. The jacket has several holes from screwback awards on the left side and and a hole from Hero of Socialist Labor on the right side. The right side also have attachment loops for his medal bars.
The jacket is a wave green (czarist green) parade M/55 type with embroidery on collar and sleeves, with six general/marshal type buttons marked "Moschtamp ***". The buttons are 1946-1956 style, with 16 republics in the Soviet coat of arms. The jacket is fitted with Marshal of Artillery shoulderboards that are in spotless excellent condition. The trousers are for wear with boots. The uniform set is in perfect condition.
The uniform comes with a document of authenticity issued by D.A. Drabik Militaria from whom we managed to
aquire the uniform. Due to the value of this set, shipping with insurance is adviced.
