STARSHIY LIEUTNANT MINISTERSTVO VNUTRENNIKH DEL
Delicate and in excellent condition being Soviet late 1980s parade uniform of a Senior Lieutenant from a firefighting unit of the Soviet ministry of internal affairs.
This type of uniform was used at formal occassions such as parades and days of honour. The tunic is fitted with two medals and a badge; the medal for 70th anniversary of the Soviet armed forces, the medal for 10 years of irreproachable service and the badge for participation in the Chernobil disaster clean-up.
The buttons has no year on the backside of the buttons and are of a late Soviet manufacture. The shoulderboards have maroon piping, same colour as the collar tabs, and has three small stars each. The collar tabs have the firefighting insignia featuring a crossed hammer and wrench.
The size of the jacket and trousers is 50 (US 40 or medium) and the visor cap, which holds the owners name, is a size 56.
The uniform is in very good condition with small traces of wear only.
Awards: Medal for 70th anniversary of the Soviet armed forces, medal for irreproachable service III class (10 years of service) and the badge "To a Chernobil liquidator".
