MARSJAL SOVJETSKOGO SOUYZAThe military rank of Marshal of the Soviet Union was established by a decree of the Soviet Cabinet, the Council of People's Commissars (Sovnarkom), on September 22, 1935.
The rank of Marshal of the Soviet Union was in practice the highest military rank of the Soviet Union. (The highest rank in theory, Generalissimo of the Soviet Union, was created for Joseph Stalin and held by him alone). The rank of Marshal of the Soviet Union was created in 1935 and abolished in 1991.
This uniform was once fitted with an impressive ribbon bar, but at some stage it has been removed and only traces and outlines remains. The uniform is otherwise in an excellent condition with the correct marshal/general buttons marked "78". The collar has very fine embroideries and the shoulder boards are in excellent state. The Deputy pin on the collar is for decoration only and is not included.
The uniform comes with straight trousers.
The price for this excellent set (jacket and trousers) is 1900 USD.
