STARSHIY LIEVTNANT AVIATSII
Very rare parade uniform of a senior lieutenant of the Soviet airforce, M/55. This uniform is for a junior officer of the administrative or technical personell of the Red airforce with service on the far east front against the Japanese forces and differs from the usual uniforms seen by being fitted with silver shoulder boards.
The medal bar includes three awards; Medal for Combat Service, medal for Victory over Japan and the Medal for 30th anniversary of the foundation of the Soviet army and navy.
The uniform consist of jacket, breeches (not in pic) and belt. The silver shoulderboards have three small metal stars each, representing the rank of senior lieutenant. The collar has metal leaves and aviation insignias.
