POLKOVNIK Very fine 1980s full parade dress uniform for a colonel of the Soviet armor/tank forces. The jacket and trousers are made from finest czarist green gabardine of high quality with golden shoulder boards with three large metal golden stars for the rank of colonel. The collar tabs have black velvet cloth with golden edges featuring the armor insignia. The uniform is fitted with an impressive number of WW2 and post-war awards including the Order of Red Banner of Labor, the Order for Patriotic War II class, the Bulgarian order of 9th September, medal for Combat service, Defense of Stalingrad and a number of post-war decorations, foremost anniversary and long service awards.
On the left chest are three badges - a combined arms profiency badge of 1st rank, an officer graduation badge and the Military Constructor badge.
The uniform consists of jacket, breeches and visor cap. The shirt, tie and belt is not included but can be purchased optionally. The size is EU52 or US42 which is about large. The visor cap is a size 57 but a larger cap can possibly be acquired if called for.
