MAIOR JUSTITIA
Rarely seen complete parade uniform of a major of the justice branch of the armed forces.
The wearer was participant in world war II and took part in the defenses at Leningrad where he was likely attached to a NKVD unit or some civilian (court, police, investigation?) service. The awards also include a Patriotic War II class and a Red Star where the later is likely to be an award for long service. The second OGPW award is a 1985 issue. After the war he attended the University of Marxism-Leninism (political academy) wherefrom the graduation badge is.
Notice the two post-soviet badges on the collar, the 1945-2000 "Frontovik"-badge and an enamel Russian Federation flag.
The uniform is in excellent condition and comes with straight leg trousers for wear with shoes, visor cap and belt. The size is a generous 54-56 (US44, L-XL) and the cap is size 59 (L) and made in a Moscow hat factory.
