Militia officer award group Excellent group of awards plus documents and paperwork (whereof two booklets containing the recipients photo, one showing him wearing all awards!) of a militia officer in Latvian SSR by name Lemeshev.
The group has the following awards: 2x Medal for combat service, medal for defense of Moscow, medal for Victory over Germany, 20th anniversary of the victory, 50th anniversary
of the Soviet militia, 50th anniversary of the Soviet armed forces, 70th anniversary
of the Soviet armed forces, badge for 25th anniversary of the Victory.
Apart from documents for all above, there is also the owners soldier book, a booklet for "disabled war veteran" and an archive document.
All the awards are in excellent condition and the set is a very nice group, suitable for display. Some of the documents show age and the conditions vary from excellent to average. If kept in a good environment, this will not be a problem. Making a research may also give further interesting facts.
