ORDENA POBEDY

Established 8 November 1943, the Order of Victory was the highest military decoration in the Soviet Union. The order was awarded to Marshals and Generals only, for successfully conducting combat operations involving one or more army groups and resulting in a "successful operation within the framework of one or several fronts resulting in a radical change of the situation in favor of the Red Army." It has been awarded twenty times to thirteen Soviet leaders and five foreign leaders, with one revocation. The order was first awarded to marshal Aleksandr Vasilevsky (1944) and the last time (1982) to Leonid Brezhnev, whose award was posthumously revoked in 1988.

The award offered is an excellent replica on metal base with glass stones. It has the correct screwback attachment device and comes with a very decorative presentation box.
