The Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class was established on 20th of May 1942. It was awarded to officers and enlisted men of the armed forces and security troops and to partisans, irrespective of rank, for lesser personal valor in action.
The award is in very good condition and is a type 3, 1985 jubilee issue given to surviving veterans of the war. The order is in silver. Several different serial numbers available.
