Good overview book of the Russian and Soviet military awards, written by V.A. Durov of the Order of Lenin State History Museum. This book is a good beginners book - or a good book on military awards for any historically interested person. Beautiful colour pictures, informative text and good paper quality. The book does not bring up any collecting issues like rarity and just briefly covers variations (screwback-suspension). It does however give interesting information on suggested award designs that were never used. This book is out of print and we have a limited number of copies available.
